Absolutely! During the trial period, you can use Media Padlock Protector to secure any document or media file you wish, including PDFs, audio, video, and Office files. There are no limitations on the number or type of files you can protect during the trial.

If you choose to cancel your subscription after the trial period, you will be charged for any full or partial month that you have used the service. Please note that once a month has started, it is considered due and cannot be refunded. If you have chosen an annual subscription and decide to cancel, the remaining months will not be refunded after 14 days.

Once your subscription is active, you will receive an email with instructions on how to download and install the Media Padlock Protector software. Follow the steps provided in the email to set up the software on your computer.

Currently, we are focused on the Windows platform only. But we have plans to bring the Media Padlock Viewer application to MacOS, Android, iOS and Linux in the near future. Note that end users with a Mac can run Media Padlock Viewer with a Virtual Windows.

Yes, you can use Media Padlock Protector on up to two computers (desktop and laptop for instance) at the same time. A deactivation feature lets you transfer your license when you need it.

Absolutely not. All the files you protect with Media Padlock can be distributed and sold at no additional cost, we do not charge any royalties.
